About the Program. ELDT

This is a entry level drivers training program and is open to students with or without prior knowledge or experience in passenger bus driving.

Students that complete this course will have a basic knowledge and the practical skills necessary for employment as an entry-level passenger bus driver with school districts, city motor-coach companies, tour bus companies, casino transportation, farm labor transportation, limousine transportation service, and early childhood development programs.

This course prepares students to take their Skills Test in order to receive a Class B CDL with passenger bus certification and Endorsements.

How Long is the Program?

Class B CDL training will take 40 hours (1 week) to complete. Need a couple extra days, no problem! we never charge more!

Program hours:
Daytime classes: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Saturday classes: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

What Will I Learn?

Training covers topics in basic operations, safe operating practices, vehicle maintenance, and non-vehicle activities such as passenger loading and unloading, emergency procedures, and special needs passengers. Pre & Post trip Vehicle inspections.

Which Endorsements Can I Get With My Class B CDL License?

This course prepares students to take their CDL Skills test in order to receive a Class B CDL with Endorsements, including:

  • Passenger
  • School Bus
