ABOUT THE PROGRAM. ELDT
This is an entry level drivers training program open to all students with or without prior knowledge or experience in commercial vehicles . Our Class B program is taught with a Hands On approach. You will start driving a truck the same day you start. We don’t believe in spending the first week sitting in a classroom or behind a computer screen. Throughout our program you will have the opportunity to experience a wide variety of trucks of many makes and models including Kenworth, Peterbilt, Volvo, International. We believe this is crucial to building a foundation for your success!
Students that complete this course will have a basic knowledge and the safe practical skills necessary for employment as an entry-level commercial driver.
This course prepares students to take their Skills Test in order to receive a Class B CDL. Our curriculum is only a guide, we teach our Program based on your ability. We progress you when you’re ready, there is never any pressure!
When you graduate from our school and apply for a job, the employer is required by FMSCA to contact the school you trained at for Verification of training and your training transcripts. When we share that information we list the equipment you had an opportunity to work with while at our school, this most often goes well because you were exposed to various vehicle types. We want you to have as much exposure as possible to different kinds of equipment.
